DEAR MISS MANNERS: Lately at social events, I often find myself trapped by people who want to share, in excruciating detail, their genetic test results.
Despite her claim that her fifth time hosting “Saturday Night Live” would not be celebrated with a parade of celebrity guests and other “SNL” alums wishing her well, Kristen Wiig turned her opening monologue into just that as she marked this milestone with help from Paul Rudd, Matt Damon, Ryan Gosling and other famous pals.
My first view of Monterey Bay on California’s Central Coast was thrilling – a raft of 40-something sea otters – and free. She began a new relationship and things got worse. The situation between us got a little better when she became sick and I had to take care of her. My siblings didn’t pitch in, even though she treated them better than she did me.
Dave Coulier is sharing the “audio hug” he received from dear friend and “Full House” co-star Bob Saget, shortly before the comedian’s sudden death in early 2022.
Dear Doctors: Our sound machine died, and my husband is shopping for a new one. It made sounds like rain and surf, which helped both of us sleep. The ads for some of the new machines talk about different colors of noise. Is that a real thing? Does it matter what kind we get?
