Isolde Zitzewitz's lost wallet
Workers renovating the old Macy's department store discovered a wallet containing the effects of Isolde Zitzewitz, a Women's Army Corps veteran of World War II who lived in Spokane late in the 1950s.

The overstuffed wallet belonging to Isolde Zitsewitz, according to the contents, was found recently in a roof drain pipe being removed during the interior demolition of the Macy’s building in downtown. Photographed Thursday, April 13, 2017. The identification and multiple licenses indicate that Zitzewitz was a career soldier in the Women’s Army Corps.
