Coeur d'Alene events draw crowds

Crowds look for their favorite dishes among the offerings of many restaurants at Taste of Coeur d’Alene in City Park on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017. Along with Art on the Green and the downtown street fair, the festivals pack the city of Coeur d’Alene for the first weekend in August each year.

Artist Twyla-Lea Jensen paints on tiles using alcohol ink, a medium that will only stick to nonporous surfaces, Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017, at Art on the Green, the annual art festival on the grounds of North Idaho College. It was the first time at the festival for the Coeur d’Alene artist.
