Bear up a tree
A 150 lb. black bear, which was brownish in color, was found at White Pine Park in Post Falls Thursday, June 11, 2009. Police, fire and Idaho Fish and Game responded. After darting the bear with tranquilizers, the Fish and Game officers went up into the tree to lower the bear, put it in a waiting bear trap container and hauled the bear to a wooded area to sleep off the effects of the dart.
