Since moving from Northern California to Coeur d’Alene 10 months back, composer and violinist Richard Altenbach (64) and his son Bren (14) have been busily integrating themselves into the local music scene. I’ve been on three rafting trips in my life. The first was a lazy day on the Snake River nearly a decade ago.
