Here is a look at action Wednesday in the Washington Legislature:

House:

Approved and sent to the Senate HB1070, a $1.4 billion state construction budget.

Approved and returned to the House for concurrence in amendments SB5024, to require prison inmates to pay $3 for each non-emergency doctor’s appointment.

Approved and returned to the House for concurrence in amendments SB5093, to require minors 16 years of age and under to have their parents’ permission to be tattooed.

Approved and sent to the governor

SB5688, requiring the state to contract with the University of Washington to set up prevention and screening programs in community clinics for fetal alcohol syndrome.

Approved and sent to the governor SB5463, requiring alcohol servers to have a permit and to receive training on how to responsibly serve alcohol to customers.
