First Lady Writing Book On Children

Hillary Rodham Clinton is writing a book about the needs of youngsters and families, the White House said Saturday.

“It Takes a Village and Other Lessons Children Teach Us” will be published this fall by Simon & Schuster, said Neel Lattimore, spokesman for the first lady.

The first lady will receive no advance for the book and her royalties will be donated to charity, Lattimore said.
