Women Rob Priest At Knife Point

Two women robbed a priest of about $400 at knife point in his church, police said Saturday.

The Rev. Carlos Lopez Acosta said he heard a noise in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in the Bronx late Friday, said police spokesman Doram Tamari.

“He went down the stairs to the first floor and confronted two women,” Tamari said. “They pulled him by the collar, displayed a knife and told him, they would kill him if he didn’t open the safe.”
