Coeur d’Alene Police

Rick Ackerman and Doug Collins reported Tuesday for Pacific Painting, Spokane, the $5,500 theft of a commercial spray gun and 12 five-gallon buckets of primer and sealer from a construction site, 1400 N Northwood Center.

Alvin Cary reported Monday the $970 theft of a chain saw and power tools from the back of his truck while at home in the 1700 block of 7th St.

Randy Bell reported Tuesday the $1,106 theft of power tools from his garage in the 700 block of Garden.

James Ford reported Wednesday the $4,000 theft of his ‘85 Nissan pickup parked at home in the 400 block of Coeur d’Alene Ave.

Vickie Stoner reported Monday damage to 13 mailboxes between 2700 and 3000 block of Fourth St. Damage is estimated at $260-$390.

Kootenai County Sheriff

Robin Wright reported Tuesday for Ron’s Harvest Foods, 240 Hayden Ave., the $389 theft of a VCR and tapes.

Gary Thompson reported Tuesday the $1,200 theft of 120 CDs from his home in the 10000 block of Ash, Hayden Lake.

Post Falls Police

The Irish Rover Shop, 2412 W. Seltice Way, reported Friday the return of a $500 forged check.

Shoshone Fire Dist. 1

A mobile home near Wallace was destroyed by fire Monday evening after a pan full of oil was apparently left on a hot stove, Fire Chief Pat Allen said. The occupants, Blaine Singlestar and his two teenage children, were not at home when the fire started. One firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
