Commission Rewarded

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission has been selected as the 1995 Commission of the year by the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies.

The six-member panel was chosen from 18 commissions for leadership on behalf of wildlife and habitat conservation and public involvement.

The commission was recognized for promoting improvements in customer service, cooperative programs with private landowners, strategies to prevent endangered species listings in Idaho and supporting volunteer networks that contributed time and materials worth more than $470,000 to wildlife last year. , DataTimes
