Gerry Cooper Spokane

Service for Gerry Lee Cooper, 36, is planned for 11 a.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.

Mrs. Cooper died Friday from cancer.

She was a lifetime Spokane resident.

She had worked for Spokane Ambulance for more than 16 years and for Post Falls Ambulance for the last three years, as office manager and emergency medical technician.

She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Wil Cooper; two sons, Jon Cooper and Brad Williams, both at home; three stepsons, Micah Cooper at home, Caleb and Jason Cooper, both of Palouse, Wash.; one stepdaughter, Karman Shaw of Spokane; her parents, Al and Lola Thompson of Spokane; and two sisters, Pam Nebelsieck and Jan Cromer, both of Spokane.

Loreen ‘Reeni’ Geissler Davenport, Wash.

Service for Loreen ‘Reeni’ Geissler, 39, is set for 2 p.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church in Davenport. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Davenport. Strate Funeral Home in Davenport is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Geissler died Thursday from cancer.

She was born in Odessa, Wash.

She graduated from Odessa High School and from Spokane Community College with a degree in retail floral design.

She operated Coast to Coast Antiques.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Davenport Womens Bowling Association and Lincoln County Farm Bureau.

She is survived by her husband, Lynn Geissler; three children, Eric Geissler of Spokane, and Kami and Travis Geissler, both at home; her mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Long of Bremerton, Wash.; her father, Leonard Provost of Davenport; two sisters, Lynette Provost of Spokane, and Carla Slaughter of Margate, Fla.; and one granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln County Chapter of the American Cancer Society or Zion Lutheran Church.

Stella Donahue Spokane

Funeral Mass for Stella Marguerite Donahue, 92, will be at 1 p.m. today at St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Donahue died Wednesday.

She was born in McGregor, Minn.

A 40-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Donahue was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.

Her husband, John Donahue, died in 1980.

Mrs. Donahue is survived by four sons, Dennis Donahue of Cumberland, Md., George Donahue of Arlington Heights, Ill., John Donahue of Ashland, Wis., and James Donahue of Spokane; six daughters, Barbara Sweeney of Gaithersburg, Md., Gloria Ammerman of Chula Vista, Calif., Nancy Tyler and Maxine Starkey, both of Spokane, Rosemary Regan of West Allis, Wis., and Carole Decker of Colbert, WA; two brothers, Carl and Walter Bjorklund, both of Cloquet, Minn.; two sisters, Mabel Anderson of Cloquet, and Signe Douker of Little Rock, Ark.; 28 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

William Emmons Seattle

No service will be held for William Edward Emmons. He willed his remains to the University of Washington Medical Center.

Mr. Emmons, 59, a former Spokane resident, died Thursday.

He was born in Lorain, Ohio.

He moved to Spokane in his late teens and moved to Seattle 15 years ago.

He received his high school diploma when he was in his 40s and graduated from Tacoma Community College with degrees art and science.

In Seattle, he worked for an industrial towing company.

Mr. Emmons is survived by his wife, Patricia; his mother, Eleanore Emmons of Spokane; one brother, Gerald Emmons of Norwalk, Ohio; and one sister, Colleen Crough of Sacramento, Calif.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Wesley Wilson Spokane

A wake for Wesley L. Wilson, 47, was Monday.

Mr. Wilson, who was born in Drury, Md., died Nov. 18.

He had lived in Spokane since 1979.

Mr. Wilson served in the Air Force for 15 years.

His wife, Mary Jo Wilson, preceded him in death.

He is survived by three sons, Kevin Henderson, Dan Froehlich, and Jason Wilson, all of Spokane; two daughters, Kim Manley of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jane Froehlich of Washington, D.C.; his mother, Annie Johnson of Landover, Md.; one brother; one sister; and six grandchildren.

Naomi Smith Spokane

Service for Naomi Smith, 82, will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Mausoleum Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park. Burial will follow. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Wednesday.

She graduated from North Central High School.

She was a homemaker and volunteered with the Women’s Auxiliary at Holy Family Hospital.

Her husband, Vern Smith, died in 1985.

She survived by her daughter, Gwen Ham of Folsom, Calif.; one sister, Lucile Hoffman of Spokane; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.

Clarence Crtes Spokane

Graveside service for Clarence Crtes, 82, was Saturday at International Order of Odd Fellows Evergreen Cemetery in Rosalia.

Born in Pine City, Wash., Mr. Crtes, died Wednesday.

He graduated from Rosalia High School and had farmed on Peone Prairie for the last 50 years.

He was a member of the Peone Grange.

Survivors include one sister, Glayce Pickett of Auburn, Wash.
