You Have To Enter To Win: Give Education Exchange College Grant A Try

Bright and industrious students are invited to enter the 1995 Education Exchange College Grant Program. The program, in its second year, will award a total of $100,000 in scholarships to collegebound high school seniors.

Applicants will be judged on scholastic achievement, qualities of character and leadership, essay responses and financial need.

Almost 80 grants will be awarded, including one for $10,000, three for $5,000 each and 75 grants for $1,000 each.

Application forms complete with rules and eligibility requirements can be obtained by writing to: Education Exchange, P.O. Box 559, Morris Plains, N.J. 07950.

Entries must be postmarked by March 31, and grant recipients will be announced this June.

Don’t forget: There’s still time to nominate a fave teacher for some well-deserved recognition.

The Washington Education Association is sponsoring its second student essay contest, “A Teacher To Remember.” One winner will be selected in three age-divided categories. Winners get a $250 U.S. Savings Bond and the teacher gets a special plaque.

We’ll send you an entry form. Call Our Generation at 459-5456. Deadline for entries is Feb. 17.
