‘Kate And Allie’ Writer Dies At 57
Bob Randall, a prolific dramatist, novelist and television writer whose successes included the Broadway play “6 Rms Riv Vu” and the hit TV series “Kate and Allie,” is dead at 57.
Randall died Saturday at his home in New Milford, Conn., of complications of AIDS.
Randall won a 1994 Emmy for his TV movie “David’s Mother.”
