Passerby Saves Four From Fire

From Staff And Wire Reports

Flames were lapping at the back of Jordan Bunch’s house, but he did not know he was in danger until a motorist driving down the road knocked on his door.

The family’s rented home escaped serious damage. The fire started in a small wooden shed behind the house.

The blaze might have severely damaged the home if crews had arrived even a minute later.

Four people were in the home when the fire started: Bunch, 14, his sister Jaimie Love, 7, brother Joey Love, 8, and friend Chris Holmes, 15.

Their mother said as she and her children left the house to spend the night with friends.
