Sabres Trade Fuhr

With one pricey goaltender too many, the Buffalo Sabres arranged a six-player deal that sent Grant Fuhr to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for defenseman Alexei Zhitnik.

The Sabres also sent defensemen Philippe Boucher and Denis Tsygurov to the Kings, while Buffalo got goaltender Robb Stauber, defenseman Charlie Huddy and a fifth-round draft pick this year or next year.
