A Cappella Quartet At Opera House

Seattle’s much-touted a cappella quartet, the Trenchcoats, plays a free concert tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Opera House as part of the Northwest Music Educators National Conference.

The Trenchcoats croon a cappella music in the style of the Bobs, Bobbie McFerrin and the Nylons.

Tickets are required, even though the concert’s free; they’re available at G&B outlets at the Opera House, The Met and at the Spokane Symphony Box Office at the SeaFirst Building downtown.

The Northwest Music Educators National Conference continues on Saturday with the Northwest Jazz Concert at the Opera House. The concert begins at 8 p.m. Sunday, the conference will hold a Northwest Gala Concert at 3 p.m.

Tickets for both those concerts are $7 and are also available at the G&B and symphony locations listed above.
