Christopher Ends Hospital Stay

Secretary of State Warren Christopher was released from the hospital Saturday morning after doctors pronounced him in excellent physical condition, a spokeswoman said.

Christopher spent the night at Georgetown University Hospital under observation for a bleeding ulcer.

Christopher is expected to testify before Congress next week and leave on a five-nation trip to the Middle East beginning March 7 or 8.
