Police Charge Man With Felony Rape
A 34-year-old man accused of attacking his girlfriend was charged with felony rape Friday.
Coeur d’Alene Police arrested William W. Leschke Thursday afternoon.
A 27-year-old woman told investigators that Leschke came into her bedroom earlier that day and assaulted her.
Although the woman told Leschke to stop, he didn’t, according to a police report.
The woman told police that Leschke punched her in the face several times after assaulting her. She said he cut the telephone wire so she could not call police. Eventually, a friend came and took him away.
