Here is a look at major storm damage across California as of Tuesday:

Deaths

On Monday, two motorists in Northern California killed when vehicles hit by trees and power lines.

A highway worker killed in southwestern Oregon when tree fell on pickup.

On Tuesday, two deaths reported in Butte County in Northern California - a motorist electrocuted by a power line and a mobile home resident crushed by a tree. One death reported in San Luis Obispo but details weren’t immediately available.

In Southern California, a body was found in a river Tuesday. Authorities said the death was storm-related.

Evacuations

Approximately 5,000 in Rio Linda in Sacramento County. An estimated 3,000 people elsewhere in Northern California. At least 150 in Southern California.

Power outages Pacific Gas & Electric Co. estimates

100,000 customers without power in Northern California, mostly in coastal areas. Power outages affect more than 95,000 Southern California Edison and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power customers.

Airports

Operations were near normal at Los Angeles International Airport. Minimal delays of up to 30 minutes for arrivals and departures.

Two of four runways were operating at San Francisco International Airport with delays of one hour or more for some flights.

Emergency declared

President Clinton has declared portions of Northern and Southern California a disaster area. The 24 counties are: Butte, Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte, Glen, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Los Angeles, Mendocino, Monterey, Napa, Orange, Placer, Plumas, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Sonoma, Teharna, Ventura, Yolo and Yuba.
