Pipeline Attacked

Associated Press

Leftist rebels blew up a section of Colombia’s main oil pipeline, spilling 14,000 barrels and raising fears of widespread environmental damage, authorities said Sunday.

The Cano-Limon Covenas pipeline was exploded with dynamite Saturday near the town of La Gloria, 280 miles north of the capital Bogota.
