Palestinians To Aid Bosnian Muslims

Associated Press

The Palestinian Authority has decided to deduct 1 percent from salaries in a campaign to help the Muslims in Bosnia.

A statement issued by the Palestinian Cabinet said the salary cuts will be made at the end of this month. Donations will also be collected in mosques and churches in the self-rule areas of Jericho and the Gaza Strip.

Israel and Jordan also have announced plans to send humanitarian aid, reportedly medicine, blankets and tents, to Bosnian refugees next week.
