Israeli Forces Arrest 30 Suspected Militants
Israeli security forces have arrested 30 suspected militants of the Islamic Hamas movement accused of planning and carrying out attacks against Israelis, an army statement said Wednesday.
The statement said the suspects were plotting attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians, including a planned bombing in the heart of Jerusalem. According
to the report, the suspects belonged to a number of cells in the Bethlehem area and were also suspected of torching Israeli cars and throwing firebombs.
In a separate incident, a roadside bomb exploded outside a refugee camp near the town of Hebron on Wednesday without causing damage, the army said.
