Board Candidates To Be Interviewed

From Staff Reports

The Post Falls School Board will interview candidates for its vacant seat at a special board meeting today.

The board will meet with five prospective candidates for the Zone 4 seat. It was vacated when JoAnne Brown resigned, citing personal reasons, from the position she had won in a write-in election two years ago.

The appointee will finish out one year left in Brown’s three-year term.

Zone 4 includes Pioneer Ridge, Crestview Estates, Kellogg Addition and most of central Post Falls, bordered on the south by Mullan Avenue, on the east by Idaho Road, on the north by Grange Avenue and on the west by Chase/Nelson Road, except for the Glenwood Park neighborhood.

The meeting, which will be open to the public, will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the library of Prairie View Elementary School at 2200 Greensferry Road.
