Big Sky List Shrinks

The list of finalists to replace retiring Big Sky Conference Commissioner Ron Stephenson has been pared from four to three.

Southwest Conference Associate Commissioner Kyle Kallander was dropped after last week’s first-round interviews in Salt Lake City.

The three finalists who will be interviewed by the presidents of Big Sky member schools in the next three weeks are Montana State athletic director Doug Fullerton, NCAA operations director Mike McNeely and Big Ten Associate Commissioner Kevin Weiberg.

Stephenson is resigning June 30 after 13 years as Big Sky commissioner. Thompson said he would like to hire a replacement before June 1.
