Woman Pleads Guilty After Filing Lawsuit

A Blaine County woman who sued the county prosecutor, local police and her former employers for $2 million last year claiming embezzlement investigations taking place against her had violated her civil rights, has pled guilty to those same charges.

The incident pertains to a criminal investigation by the prosecutor’s office last year surrounding embezzlement suspicions of Hailey resident Celia Streit.
