‘Forrest Gump’ Wins Best-Editing Award
American Cinema Editors has honored “Forrest Gump” as the best-edited motion picture of 1994 at its 45th-annual awards.
“Hoop Dreams,” the story of two inner-city basketball players, generally was snubbed in the Oscar nominations but won the ACE award for best-edited documentary.
Filmmaker Robert Altman was honored with ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award for his 33-film career.
