Southwest Launches Service To Boise

Southwest Airlines initiates its service from Spokane to Boise today, adding three flights to its schedule of departures from Spokane International Airport.

The Boise flights, which continue to Reno and then Los Angeles, will depart daily at 6:55 a.m., noon and 4:30 p.m.

The additions brings the number of Southwest’s daily Spokane departures to 14.

“We do plan further expansions, probably later in the summer,” Dave Yarbrough, Southwest’s Spokane station manager, said Wednesday. “The Spokane market and community have been very good to us, so we are trying to respond by providing more convenient service.”
