Steel Yourself For Scares In These Haunted Houses

It’s the season for witches and goblins, and sure enough, the haunted houses are opening their doors this weekend.

There’s enough choice to scare anyone.

Here is a list of some of the haunted houses in the area:

KZZU/Domino’s Pizza, Riverfront Park Haunted House “The Asylum” at the Pavilion (benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Easter Seals). Opens tonight and continues through Halloween.

Hours:Mondays-Wednesdays 6-10 p.m.; Thursdays 5-10 p.m.; Fridays 6 p.m.-midnight; Saturdays noon-midnight; Sundays noon-10 p.m.

KZZU/Post Falls Lions Club Haunted House, Fourth and Post, in Post Falls; take Exit 5. Opens Oct. 21 and continues through Halloween.

West Valley High School Haunted House (benefits the senior class for overnighter) at Walk in the Wild zoo. Opens Oct. 20 and continues through Halloween.

Hours: Fridays-Saturdays 5:30-11 p.m.; Sundays 2:30-5 p.m. (kids only; lights will be on), 5:30-10 p.m. for all. Wednesdays-Thursdays and on Halloween, 5:30-10 p.m. Closed Mondays-Tuesdays. Cost: $3 for everyone. Information: 922-5488.

Valley Repertory Theatre Haunted House, 12212-1/2 E. Sprague. Opens Thursday and continues through Halloween.

Cheney Parks and Recreation Haunted House, at Wren Pierson Building, Third and D Street, Cheney. Open only Oct. 30 and Halloween.
