Teenager Admits Killing 9-Year-Old

A 15-year-old boy has confessed to sexually assaulting his 9-year-old neighbor, beating him with a log and then drowning him in a drainage ditch, police said.

Lamount Harden was arrested Friday and confessed after his muddy jeans were found in a trash can at the apartment complex where victim Steven Wilson lived, according to a police affidavit.

Harden was charged as an adult with murder and unlawful sexual intercourse.
