Personal: Lived in Spokane Valley 47 years … retired from 27-year career with Community Colleges of Spokane and 25-year career running Ventris Candy and Caramel Corn at University City Mall … past and present volunteer activities include Valley Hospital Foundation, Valley Hospital advisory board, Women’s Health Network board and the Lilac Foundation.

Education: Graduated high school in North Dakota, completed two years of college in North Dakota.

Issues: Easing crowding by building new facilities, providing security and safety for children, create proper curriculum as technology changes education.
