Armed Man Linked To 2 Holdups

From Staff And Wire Reports

Police believe one man wearing sunglasses robbed two Spokane gas stations late Sunday.

About 11:20 p.m., a robber entered the Qwik-Stop at 3219 N. Nevada, waved a shotgun and demanded cash, the Spokane Police Department said.

Fifteen minutes later, a man brandishing a shotgun robbed the Zip-Trip at 1503 E. Illinois.

In both robberies, the man left after getting cash, although police wouldn’t say how much was taken.

The robber was described as a white man in his 20s, about 5-feet-8 and 150 pounds. He wore a gray and black flannel shirt, baggy pants, and dark-mirrored sunglasses.
