Police Seek Help Finding Suspect

From Staff And Wire Reports

Spokane Police are asking for help in finding a 17-year-old boy wanted in the beating of a Spokane man who was walking home with his mother on Oct. 21.

Police have a first-degree robbery warrant for the arrest of Ryan W. Seaman of Chattaroy. Seaman may be armed and should be considered dangerous, police said.

Beating victim John Hintz, 35, remained in critical condition late Monday at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Hintz was leaving a bowling alley when he and his mother were confronted by four teens near Nevada and Courtland.

Police believe Seaman struck Hintz, who fell to the ground and suffered severe head injuries. Police have information that the group robbed Hintz before they fled.

Three other teens have been arrested on first-degree robbery charges.

Seaman has four other outstanding warrants, 21 prior arrests and one conviction for possession of stolen property.

Secret Witness, 327-5111, is offering a cash reward for information that leads to Seaman’s arrest.
