Driver Dies At Accident Scene

A 39-year-old man died this week after driving off a road about 11 miles south of Davenport, Wash.

Larry D. Nicholson, of Davenport, died Thursday of head and internal injuries at the scene of the accident on Blue Stem Road, the Washington State Patrol said.

Nicholson was heading east about 6:50 p.m. Thursday on Blue Stem Road and drove off the roadway to the right, according to the state patrol.

He was thrown from his 1972 Ford pickup. He wasn’t wearing a seat belt, the state patrol said.
