Frances ‘Jeannea’ Rekofke Spokane

Vigil service for Frances J. “Jeannea” Rekofke, 70, was at 7 p.m. Sunday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral Mass is set for 10 a.m. today at the church with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. HennesseySmith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rekofke died Thursday from cancer. She was born in Livingston, Mont and was a 50-year Spokane resident and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joseph Rekofke; two sons Robert Rekofke of Boise, and Brian Rekofke of Spokane; one brother, Fred Phillips of Billings; one sister, Ellen Ann Robinson of Richey, Mont.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gonzaga Preparatory School Athletic Department, 1224 E. Euclid, Spokane, Wash., 99207.

Darnella Del Riccio Spokane

No service will be held for Darnella A. Del Riccio, at her request. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Del Riccio, 85, died Friday.

She was born in Athol, Idaho.

She had lived in Spokane for 67 years.

Mrs. Del Riccio worked in sales for dress shops before she and her sister, Lena, purchased their own shop, LeDel’s.

After they sold the dress shop, Mrs. Del Riccio worked in her husband’s shoe shop, Del Riccio’s Shoe Rebuilding, until she retired

Her husband, Antonio, preceded her in death.

She is survived by four sisters Pauline Cafaro, Mary Bruneau, Erma Bonge, Jennie Klomparens, all of Spokane.
