Phones at The Spokesman-Review main offices in downtown Spokane malfunctioned Monday morning.
Some phones in the building at 999 W. Riverside didn’t work for a couple of hours because of a software problem in the telephone system, said Jack Filanoski, a foreman of facilities management technicians.
All of the phones were down twice for about 10 minutes, once about 10 a.m. The second time, company workers shut down the system shortly after noon to repair the problem.
After that, phones worked normally.
