Restaurant Boots Payton

Compiled From Wire Services

NBA players Gary Payton, Jason Kidd and Brian Shaw were kicked out of a 24-hour restaurant after waitresses accused them of being threatening and shouting obscenities.

Shaw, a guard for the Orlando Magic, denied the allegations.

Sharpe said one member of the party, whom Shaw declined to identify, called the workers “lowlife, third-shift waitresses,” and Shaw threatened to buy the Waffle House just so he could fire them.
