Diana Spens Coeur d’Alene

Memorial service for Diana Gail Spens, 55, will be at a later date in California. Coeur d’Alene Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Spens, who was born in Vallejo, Calif., died Wednesday at home.

She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God, North Idaho Builders Association and TIPPS of Coeur d’Alene . She was also an interior designer, winning first place at home shows for the two previous years.

She enjoyed fly fishing, sailing and canoeing. She also enjoyed being with people.

Survivors include her husband, Jon Spens, at home; a son, Mark Church of Vallejo; a daughter, Tracie McMillan of Benicia, Calif.; her parents, Kenneth and Ivah Plumb of Vallejo; a brother, Larry Plumb of Walnut Creek, Calif.; one granddaughter and two nieces.

Thomas Koehler Spokane

Service for Thomas I. Koehler, 19, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Koehler died Sunday in Twentynine Palms, Calif.

He was born in Othello, Wash., and moved to Spokane as an infant with his family.

He graduated from Rogers High School in 1994 and served in the Marine Corps as a tank radio operator. He was a lance corporal.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Meriel and James O’Neall of Spokane; his father, Douglas Stone of Spokane; one brother, James Koehler; and his grandparents, Alice Southards of Mesa, Wash., Robert Yates of St. Maries and Richard and Lurene Stone of Spokane.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rogers High School choir.
