Driver Moved From Hospital To Jail

From Staff And Wire Reports

A Spokane man whose driving is suspected of killing two people last week and who was convicted of vehicular homicide in 1984 was released from the hospital Friday.

Bradford Erickson, 36, was booked into the county jail Friday evening on charges of vehicular homicide and assault after his release from Sacred Heart Medical Center, a jail official said.

On Sept. 20, Erickson slammed a Chrysler LeBaron into the back of a cement truck on Trent Avenue, killing his two women passengers.

Erickson has racked up 10 arrests for drunken driving on a criminal record that’s also littered with assault, drug and theft charges.

He was hospitalized after last week’s accident and put into a medically induced coma while he went through drug or alcohol withdrawal symptoms. , DataTimes
