Educators Changing Jobs

Wholesale changes in the administration of several North Side schools are putting new faces on several campuses next fall.

A 1981 Washington State University graduate, Williams has a background in science. She has served on several school district committees and has been an administrator since 1990.

Staci Vesneske was named assistant principal at Shadle Park High School, replacing Emmett Arndt, who was promoted to principal.

A teacher and administrator since 1989, Vesneske once earned a “Lois Lane” award for her reporting in the school district newsletter.

Dana Lyman was hired by the Mead School District for the principalship at Midway Elementary. She has degrees from Eastern Washington University and Gonzaga University, and has been an elementary school principal since 1988.

Becky Cooke will be interim principal at Mead’s Evergreen Elementary for one year. She was assistant principal at Mead Junior High last year.

Mead administrators are look for a permanent principal after their top choice backed out last month.
