Woman Hit By Car In Store Lot, Then Has Her Wallet Stolen

From Staff Reports

Two men in a small car swiped a woman’s wallet Friday morning after the driver hit her with the car in a South Hill shopping center parking lot.

The woman told police she was walking to the Lincoln Heights Payless Drug Store about 9 a.m. when a white Ford Fiesta hit her. She dropped her wallet, and one of the men jumped out and took it, police said.

The woman was not seriously hurt, police said. Both men escaped in the car.

Several people witnessed the robbery, including store employees who saw the men leave the store.

The driver was described as a white or light-skinned black man in his late teens or early 20s, about 6 feet 2 and 220 pounds. The passenger was black, in his early 20s, about 5 feet 11, 170 pounds and had a mustache.
