Jones-Fehr Duo Wins

U.S. Open champion Steve Jones and Rick Fehr defeated Tom Lehman and Duffy Waldorf 4 and 3 in the opening round of the Diners Club matches.

Craig Stadler and John Cook went an extra hole to defeat Steve Stricker and Kirk Triplett 1-up.

The other winners were Scott Hoch and Kenny Perry and Justin Leonard and Mike Hulbert in the round-robin tournament.
