Voters To Decide Moscow Road Bond
Moscow voters will decide Tuesday whether to spend $1.6 million to improve Mountain View Road from 6th Street to F Street.
The three-quarter-mile widening and paving project, which would add 26 cents per $1,000 assessed valuation, would cost a total of $2.1 million, with federal funds making up the difference. Improvements include bike lanes, sidewalks and median strips.
School officials are endorsing the proposal, saying a light to go at the intersection of D Street and Mountain View would improve pedestrian safety between the junior high school and the McDonald School. , DataTimes
