No-Shows Hurt Senior Bowl

Although 25 players decided to leave school early this season and enter the NFL draft, Senior Bowl president Steve Hale said he’s not panicking.

“Last year, I had the exact same conversation,” said Hale, when asked about the caliber of players for today’s Senior Bowl.

Among those in this year’s lineup are Florida State quarterback Danny Kanell and wide receivers Eric Moulds of Mississippi State and Bobby Engram of Penn State.

Washington State defensive lineman Dwayne Sanders is on the North team.
