Clowning around: The Future Business Leaders of Liberty High School are sponsoring the Wenatchee Youth Circus from July 19-21 at West Valley High School’s outdoor stadium.

The Wenatchee Youth Circus is ranked as one of the top nonprofessional circuses in the nation. All the show’s performers are between the ages of 5 and 18. Writer John Lee wrote in a Seattle Times article last year, “They can catapult, cartwheel and captivate with the best of them.”

The lineup for the performance includes swinging ladders and juggling, double trapeze, pyramids, clowns, trampolines, tight wire, contortion and more.

Show times are 7 p.m. on July 19, 1 and 5 p.m. on July 20 and 2 and 5 p.m. on July 21. Tickets, available at the door, are $5 for adults, $3.50 for children 3-12 and free for children 2 years and younger.

All profits from the circus will go toward sending FBLA members to their national conference in Washington, D.C. this summer.
