Templin Supports Chenoweth

Templin’s Resort owner Bob Templin said he supports Rep. Helen Chenoweth, R-Idaho, despite being listed as a contributor to her opponent’s congressional campaign.

Democrat Dan Williams’ latest campaign finance report shows a $283.41 in-kind contribution in May from Templin, a longtime supporter of Republican campaigns. The contribution was mentioned in a July 27 story in The Idaho Spokesman-Review.

Templin said he put Williams up in his Post Falls resort when he came to North Idaho to campaign. Templin offers accommodations to any politician coming through town, he said.

“It’s common practice for (hotel owners) to do that,” Templin said. , DataTimes
