Habitat For Humanity Begins Fund Drive
Habitat for Humanity-Spokane will try to raise $155,000 during its annual fund drive that begins Monday.
Charles Van Marter, senior partner of the Lukins & Annis law firm, is volunteer chairman of the major gifts portion of the drive.
Van Mater also is chairman of the city of Spokane’s Housing Capital Needs campaign.
Habitat, which builds housing for low-income families, plans to construct 13 homes this year.
The organization has helped 35 low-income families become homeowners in Spokane. Two more homes will be dedicated in public ceremonies this month. , DataTimes
