Man’s Body Found In Field Near Spangle

The body of a 53-year-old man was found Sunday afternoon in a field about 10 miles south of Spokane off U.S. Highway 195.

Spokane County sheriff’s deputies responded about 3 p.m. to the field, just northeast of Spangle. The man’s vehicle was found a short distance away.

The Sheriff’s Department investigated the scene for about six hours. Foul play wasn’t suspected.

The name of the man is not being released, pending notification of relatives.
