Five Arrested After Pot Found In Raid
Authorities arrested five people and confiscated more than two pounds of marijuana Thursday night during a raid on a North Boyer home.
The residents, whose names were not released, were suspects in a burglary investigation.
A team of Bonner County sheriff’s deputies and city officers surrounded and searched the house about 7 p.m.
The marijuana was found hidden inside a wood stove. Five guns scattered throughout the house were also seized, authorities said.
The three arrested men were Hispanic - two of them illegal aliens from Mexico, according to authorities. Two females were also taken into custody. More arrests are expected.
