The Pioneer League’s Idaho Falls Braves have extended their player development contract with the parent San Diego Padres through the 1998 season.

Bobby Braswell, a Cal State Northridge alum who spent the last four years as an Oregon assistant, is returning to the Matadors as their head basketball coach. Braswell, who graduated from Northridge in 1984, becomes the fourth coach in the 36-year history of the school’s basketball program.
