Learning Disabilities Topic Of Workshop

Three local experts on learning disabilities will present a Monday afternoon workshop for parents, teachers and anyone else who is interested.

They’ll discuss such issues as the differences between a developmental disability and a learning disability. They will provide information on attention deficit disorder, and services that are available locally.

It will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Kootenai Room of the North Idaho College Student Union.

Speakers will include Mary Jean Jenness of the NIC Student Services Department; Todd DeVries, of the Disability Action Center in Coeur d’Alene, and Sharon Farrell of the Idaho Assistive Technology Project.
